Community Voices

People from all backgrounds and all walks of life have been impacted by today’s marijuana. Teenagers, children, parents, teachers, activists– all of them have their stories. We want to share the powerful voices in our community to humanize the data behind marijuana prevention and inspire you to speak out and have an impact in your own community.

Community Voices: Michelle’s Story

Michelle is a courageous mother and fierce advocate for youth drug prevention. Michelle tragically lost her son Trevor in 2019 to an accidental fentanyl poisoning. Michelle now shares Trevor’s story nationally to educate parents, schools, and lawmakers about the dangers of today’s marijuana and its connection to the broader opioid crisis.
